About the Course
Course Description : This is NOT a generic blockchain course for developers or crypto enthusiasts. It is a finance-first curriculum designed specifically for fund managers, administrators, compliance, and operations professionals. Every technical concept—from distributed ledger to hashing to consensus to smart contracts—is explained through the lens of how it impacts fund operations, investor compliance, and operational risk. You will learn to speak the language of blockchain while understanding exactly why it matters for your day-to-day work in the fund/finance industry
Audience: Finance and Fund professionals with little to no prior knowledge. Essential for anyone in finance, operations, product, fund accountant, or compliance entering the digital asset/RWA space

Module 2: Digital Identity & Permissions: Wallets as Role-Based Access for Fund Stakeholders – Types of Wallets, Access Control via Public and Private Keys, and Moving Beyond from KYC to KYT
Module 3: The Automated Fund Operations – What is a smart contract and how smart contract automates the fund operation, distribution and the compliance, understand the risk and how to mitigate the risks
Module 4: The Cost of On-Chain Operations – what is gas fee and the fund’s running cost on blockchain, the economics of running a fund on a public network and strategies to optimize costs
Module 5: How Funds Get Real-World Prices onto the Blockchain – Understand the Oracle problems and its solutions and the risks, how to obtain crypto prices for valuation and NAV feed into blockchain
Module 6: Selecting Your Fund’s “blockchain Jurisdiction” - Choosing the right blockchain for your fund/RWA products distribution
Module 7: New Forms of Non-Financial Risks – Understanding the new non-financial risk framework- GBBC’s Risk Mitigation Framework introduction
Module 8: A Framework for Technology Evaluation - Evaluating Blockchain Infrastructure: The Trade-offs Between Security, Scalability, and Decentralization
Module 9: The Big Picture - A visual map of the entire ecosystem, helping professionals understand where different vendors (blockchain auditor, wallet providers, exchanges) fit in the new value chain.
